Helen's family group consisted of her father James Brown (35) [draper; d. 2/5/1899]; Emma née Hepburn, wife (25) [d. 8/3/1888]; George (5) [draper; d. 20/11/1915]; Helen herself; Emma Hepburn (2) [m. Alexander Herdman, accountant and banker; d. 4/8/1917]; and James McNeil (born on voyage) [m. Emily Ashendon; d. Sydney 17/6/1912].1
She married Thomas MOODIE at Jas. Brown house, Spring Bank in Dunedin, Otago, on 26 August 1863.2,3,4,5
Helen died on 7 April 1907 in Dunedin, Otago, at age 61.6,7 She was buried on 10 April 1907 at the Northern Cemetery in Dunedin.8,9
