Her family group consisted of her father Andrew Dalziel (43) [ag. sawyer; Chain Hills; d. 28/5/1885]; Margaret née Jarvey, wife (42) [d. 23/9/1877]; Elizabeth (11) [m Gilbert Buchanan, also from the "Philip Laing"; d.6/1/1872]; Agnes (6) [d. 6/4/1927]; and Robert (3) [d. 21/6/1925].¹

She was travelling with her mother Janet, brothers John and Gavin and sister Sadie; their last UK address was Apna Place, Uddington.³
She married Alexander Ewen FERGUSON at St Matthews Church in Auckland, Auckland, on 25 October 1924.^4,5 Alexander and Janet arrived in England on the Rangitiki in January 1951 for a short visit, and gave the address of his mother in Wallasley as their UK contact.
