Janet Anderson was born in Kilsyth, Stirlingshire, in 1823. She was the daughter of Robert ANDERSON and Janet PATRICK.2 She was baptised in Kilsyth, Stirlingshire, on 10 May 1823.2

She married Matthew Hood Adam, son of William Adam and Agnes Hood, in Kilsyth, Stirlingshire, on 24 June 1845.1

Janet died on 22 July 1881 at Homehill Cottage, Academy St in Coatbridge, Old Monkland, Lanarkshire, of carditis.3
