She married Joseph Forsaith, son of Thomas Forsaith and Sarah Campin, at the residence of the bride's father (Frederick Wm Mitchell) in Point Sturt, near Milang, South Australia, on 14 March 1876.2

She was widowed at age 59 on the death of her husband Joseph on 2 June 1913.3,4

Clara died on 27 June 1926 in Port Pirie, South Australia, at age 72.5 She was buried on 28 June 1926 at the Port Pirie Cemetery in Port Pirie.6

Edward was born in Ware, Hertfordshire, circa 1778, and stated to be.1,2

He married Rebecca Osment Smyth, daughter of John Smyth and Sarah Osment, at St Mary's in Hornsey, Middlesex, on 27 March 1807.1,3,4

He was widowed on the death of his wife Rebecca in August 1829.5

He was listed in the 1841 census in Ludgate, London, Middlesex; he was of independent means. His children John and Ann were listed with him.6

He was listed in the 1851 census as Head of Family at 3 Lordship Terrace in Stoke Newington, London, Middlesex; he was a retired currier (i.e, had been in the leather processing trade). His children Elizabeth, Mary and Martha were listed as living with him.2

Edward died on 14 November 1859 at 3 Lordship Terrace in Stoke Newington, London, Middlesex.1,7
