Edward died on 24 June 1965 in Sherborne, Dorset, at age 31 due to a road accident.4,5,6,3 He was buried on 1 July 1965 in Sherborne.4

His will was probated in Exeter on 18 February 1966 with an estate of £3975.5

Jessie's marriage to Charles Burton HAGGIS, son of Alfred Henry HAGGIS and Sarah Ann BIGGS, was registered between July 1888 and September 1888 in Croydon, Surrey.3

She was listed in the 1911 census at 2 Riggindale Rd in Streatham, London, Middlesex, with her husband Charles; he was a sawmill proprietor. Their children Gertrude, Kathleen, Elsie and Eileen were listed as living with them.6

She was widowed at age 51 on the death of her husband Charles on 4 December 1919.7,8

Jessie Gertrude WINZAR and Alfred John HAGGIS were appointed executors of Charles Burton HAGGIS's estate in London on 6 July 1920.8

She was listed in the 1939 Register at Tynywerk Hotel in Llangollen, Denbighshire; she is living on private means and the Hotel is managed by other WINZARs - possibly nieces?.2

Jessie died on 17 April 1952 at The Castleton Nursing Home in Banstead, Surrey, at age 83.9,10

Her will was probated in Exeter, Devon, on 14 August 1952 with Gilbert Arthur HARWOOD appointed executor of effects valued at £5510/18/10.10

George Denis WISE1

George Denis WISE (1904-1971) c.1925
George Denis WISE was born in Dunedin, Otago, on 12 May 1904.1,2

He was educated at Otago Boys High School, for whom he played rugby in the 1st XV (1920-21) before joining the Pirates club in Dunedin. He was a swift winger, standing 5' 10" and first played for Otago as a 19-year old in 1923. He had six games that year and another four in 1924.
He was chosen for the All Blacks 1925 tour of Australia, where he was an effective try scorer, topping the statistics with a total of 5 tries over the 7 games. There was a preliminary match against Wellington and a game on return against Wellington-Manawatu-Horowhenua as well as five games in Australia but no tests were played.
After the Australian tour he made another two appearances for Otago before transferring to North Otago (Kurow club) where he played two matches for that union in 1928.2

He married Alexa Oreti STUART, daughter of George STUART and Elsie Isabella CUMMING, in New Zealand in 1929.3

George died on 1 September 1971 in Dunedin, Otago, at age 67.4 He was cremated at the Dunedin Crematorium, Anderson's Bay on 3 September 1971, and ashes scatered 6 Sep.4
